The Lehosheet Yad Foundation was set up to support families who have a child that is battling cancer or another life-threatening illness. It does so by way of financial aid, emotional support and community building. Whether it be counselling, granting wishes to terminal patients, paying for medicine, or locating the best specialists, Lehosheet Yad is there to support families in their time of need. The organization was established back in 2006 by Avraham Atar and is based in Israel.
