About us
The Idan and Batia Ofer Family Foundation (“The Foundation”) was set up to bring about social change and to have a positive impact on the lives of many, with a particular emphasis on children and young people. It does so by way of projects that span health, education, welfare, art and culture. These innovative projects go hand-in-hand with The Foundation’s support of organisations in Israel, the United Kingdom and the United States, which share similar values and become partners in action. Through meaningful collaboration and dedication to its causes, The Foundation has had a profound impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and is today regarded as being at the forefront of results-driven philanthropy.
The Foundation has partnered with organisations that include, but are not limited to, Ichilov Hospital, Yad Sarah, Make-A-Wish UK and The Peres Centre for Peace and Innovation. More recently, and in response to the atrocities of the war in Ukraine, The Foundation relocated hundreds of refugees to Varna, Bulgaria. The Foundation provides these Ukrainian refugees with everything they need, from housing and education to healthcare and wellness. Idan and Batia, who carefully select causes that they find particularly meaningful and embody The Foundation’s core values, are personally involved in all donations and initiatives undertaken.
